We’re in the mainland and you're in the  Island, gazing at each other through the misty waves.

Looking this way and that way,how much sorrow do you still endure?

Beijing and Taipei share the same clothes and ancestry. Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Soul transcends time and space. His philosophy of republic shines through the world.

We never forget the heroes and heroines in the Revolution of 1911  fought and sacrificed for the national regeneration. Their  glories have been engraved in history.

Shaoshan and Xikou are linked with waters and mountains, tying with sibling blood .

Looking up the Heaven , both smile away the enmity after going through all kinds hardships and difficulties.

3. We keep in mind that  during the Northern Expedition and the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression  our army , the Iron-blooded Chinese army, quelled internal unrest and drove away foreign invaders, with

life- and -death roaring in unison.

Military intelligence and national conditions are mixed with the Chinese sentiment. With love in heart, we should cross the chasm and stand side by side to consolidate the golden vessel–our homeland. 

4. The east coast and the west coast embrace the blue strait together.

The source is far and the current swift. When will the suffering of seperation come to an end?

The tides rise and fall, and let's seek the way home together. Peace and harmony are the most precious, and the will of the people comes first.
